Every Driverstation instructor is licensed by the DVSA – either fully qualified, or a trainee on a DVSA trainee licence, supported by our training team. They’re trained to teach the way the DVSA now expects: you talk through the goals for each lesson together, you get honest feedback, and you’re encouraged to think about your own driving rather than just follow directions.

Your Own Learner App
Every Driverstation learner gets the Driverstation app on their phone. It keeps everything in one place:
- Your lessons – upcoming and past lessons, with times and lengths, and a button to confirm you’re coming
- Your progress – your instructor rates each skill from 1 to 5 after your lessons, so you can see what’s improving and what still needs work, plus an overall test readiness figure
- Your reflections – a place to write down what you practised after each lesson, while it’s fresh
- Your hours and payments – the hours you’ve paid for, the hours you’ve had, and what credit is left
- Your instructor’s availability – free lesson slots and days off, so you can plan ahead
- Your driving test – your test date and centre, alongside your lessons

Flexible Times
Lessons run during the day, in the evenings and at weekends, so you can fit them around work, college or family. If you need to move a lesson, give your instructor at least 48 hours’ notice.

We prepare you for the driving test – including mock tests and the ‘show me, tell me’ questions – but the aim is to make you a safe driver for life. That means real roads and real traffic: dual carriageways, busy junctions, country roads and driving on your own without directions.
